God’s Promise by Clay Anderson

At the beginning of the year God was telling me this was going to be a miraculous year for UTRI. I told the staff and we were all very excited. Since then Mexico has had some trouble, the economy got worse in the USA and the flu went pandemic. Last week during our Thursday afternoon chapel time I reminded the staff of God’s promise of protection for UTRI.
Then I told them the rest of the story. Moses went to Pharaoh and declared, “Let my people go!” Pharaoh’s response was simple, “no.” After Pharaoh decried the people for wanting to be freed, he commanded their workload be increased. God had declared freedom for his people. Moses told them freedom is on the way, but what they received was not freedom, but hardship.
When the year started and I shared the story of the glory to come, I forgot one thing: you do not get a miracle without a problem. No one has ever been healed without an ailment. No one has ever been delivered without something to be delivered from.
This will be a miraculous year for UTRI. God is in control. He will be proven faithful. We are standing on His word, and now we are giving Him praise for considering us worthy of this difficult time.
Thank you God for your faithfulness and love. We know you are trustworthy. Thank you for continuing to show us we are walking in your path. We love you.
